A Christmas Carol Contest

This year they decided to organize a Christmas Carol Contest in our school. Each group had to prepare a Christmas carol and then all the classes had to show the rest of the people what they have done.

At first, we all thought that it was a fantastic idea and we were very happy and excited about it. We started choosing the Christmas carol and practising the song in music…It seemed that everything was alright. But then, we had to sing. When we started, it was a disaster! Much of us were scared or embarrassed about being in the stage. The girls sang very low so nobody could hear them, and the boys sang louder and with their strong voices. We all sounded horrible and out of tune.

However, with a lot of days of practise and some help from our music teachers we became better and our class sang very well. The performance day everything went great and we sang perfectly.

It was fantastic and very funny to prepare it. It took a lot of work, but I think that  it was a very interesting experience.
