Do you want some delicious cookies?

This was the first time we made cookies, and I think it won´t be the last one.                                                                                                                            

We didn´t have any idea about how we could make them, so we asked Esalasi´s uncle and he gave us the recipe of some cookies. We read the Christmas Cooking Contest instructions, and since that moment we knew it was going to be a hard work.

First, we kneaded the butter until it got creamy. Then, we added more ingredients to the butter: sugar, bicarbonate, two egg yolks, and a bit of muscatel; and we kneaded the whole mass again. This was the hardest part of the recipe. At the same time as two of us were kneading it (the worst part), the other two had to add some flour to the dough until it got less sticky.

And here comes the funniest part of the recipe! We had to give different forms to the mass. At the beginning, we tried to make difficult forms with a knife, such us Christmas trees or Christmas stars, but all of them broke and finally we made them with a circular form.

When we finished, we put the cookies in the oven during 45 minutes. While they were heating, we prepared the chocolate. It didn´t take us a long time, so we had to wait until the cookies were ready.             

Finally, we added the chocolate to the cookies, and we decorated them with some sweets. In the end, they were awesome!

Unfortunately, we didn´t eat any chocolate cookie, and the presentation day we didn´t have enough time to taste them!
